Connecting to God is not a special event. It’s a way of life. It’s a lifestyle.
I get up and my morning starts with a cup of tea, made by me, of course😊. Tea time is song time on a chair outside, with the proximity of plants. I wake up everyday with a song playing in my head, sent by god.
I put clothes in machine and do Surya Vandana and say Gayatri mantra times. Sun god has always blessed my soul. I feel like God is nearby, after surya Vandana.
And then, during tea time, I talk to God. Listen to music. Many times, I have seen visions sitting on my terrace. Other times, it’s my Bhakti and mantra.
After tea, it’s the usual run-around of life. Preparing breakfast. Getting ready to go for work. Workplace also has a small temple. I start the day there with puja and then get engaged in work.
Come back by evening, prepare food/snacks for family. Then meditate in temple.
Whatever work I do, song sent by god/mantra keeps on playing in my head. Kitchen work, evening walk, T.V time….all the time, song will keep playing in the background. And I will be smiling all the time.
It’s not difficult when he’s close to your heart. Not when you remember him happily and not like some work to be finished.
People who are ambitious for money and power utilise tea time and night time to learn new things. That’s how we are programmed, isn’t it? So let’s just program ourselves to connect to the most beautiful and pure soul in the universe. God’s Soul!!! Living in our Self!!
